He was born in Carver to William S and Dora Collins Garner. He was a lifelong resident of Newton County, AR. residing with his daughter, Sandi Holt for the last six years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doylene Garner; one son, seven sisters and four brothers.

He was 78 when he passed away at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. I have a copy of his obit.
