Patricia R. Wilson
Of Smyrna, DE, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was 75.
Mrs. Wilson was born March 4, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Harold and Eve Rash.
She worked in the family business, Wilson Farms and Wilson Pallet Co. for many years before her retirement.
Pat enjoyed bird watching, nature and flowers, vacationing with her family in her RV, and her pets. She also enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, George; 4 sons, John W. Doughten, Jr., Rick E. Handsberry, Dennis Wilson, and Mark Wilson; a daughter, Pamela Draper; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1pm Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna.
Funeral services will begin at 2pm. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, PO Box 330, Smyrna, DE 19977.
