Kathryn Kerby Tolle

Mrs. Kathryn Kerby Tolle left this home for a much better one on Tuesday, January 22nd at the age of 88. She was born October 26, 1924 in Bedford County and was the wife of the late James M. Tolle, preacher and author, and daughter of Joshua Bibb and Alma Lloyd Kerby. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Kaye Carrell and son-in-law, Larry Carrell of Keller, Texas and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kathryn Lee Hall.

Kathryn was a graduate of Wartrace High School, an alumnus of David Lipscomb College where she was named Representative of the Decade of the 40's at Lipscomb Homecoming in 1995, and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State College where she was selected for Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges and for the Tau Omicron Honor Society. She was a member of Fairlane Church of Christ.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 25th, at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the James M. and Kathryn K. Tolle Scholarship Fund, Lipscomb University, One University Park Drive, Nashville, TN. 37204-9950.
