Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptitst Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.
Sylvia is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Dwight D. Thornton & Emma Jean Thornton; grandparents: Cremon & Lee Ray Thornton and Barney & Emma Higgins.
Pallbearers are Wesley Thornton, Jamie Thornton, Duane Greene, Joel May, Melvin May and David Reeve.
