Martha G. Salyers, 69, of Olney, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Burgin Manor at Olney.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. July 6 in the Chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney.

Mrs. Salyers was bron on April 5, 1940, in Olney, the daughter of Harvey L. and Nola (Coplea) Zimmerle.

She worked as a receptionist at Weber Medical Clinic and was a member of Congretional Christian Church.

Mrs. Salyers is survived by her son, Bill E. Salyers, of Bridgeport; daughters, Barbara J. Burke, of Bement, and Becky J. Rennier, of Olney; brothers, Harvey Loy Zimmerle and his wife, Suzy, of Fallbrook, Calif, Mike D. Zimmerle and his wife, Lori, of Olney; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey; mother, Nola; and sister, Linda.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
