Peter EDWARDS, Sr., died at his home in Sturgeon on Sunday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock in the 67 year of this age, death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mr. EDWARDS was born in Mola, North Wales and came to this country 29 years ago, in the year 1885 he was married to Miss Hannah ROBISON, who survives. He had been in poor health for a greater part of the time, since coming to this country for the past 8 years he never laid in bed, being compelled to sit up all the time, a large rocking chair being his favorite place. Besides his widow he leaves five sons and four daughters; John, William, Robert and Henry at home and Peter, Jr. of Sturgeon; Mrs. M. LOGAN of McDonald, Mrs. Nellie CHOME of Sturgeon, Mrs. Mary CANTRAL of Raccoon and Sadie Ruth at home. funeral services were held at his late home on Monday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock in charge of Rev. CORNELL, pastor of the Methodist church of McDonald. Interment was in the Robinson Run cemetery. August 26, 1916 / McDonald PA Outlook
