Obituary from the Shreveport Times newspaper, June 21, 1983, Tuesday, p. 7-A:

BOSSIER CITY – Services for Hoffman Lee Fuller, 84, of Bossier City, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 21 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Fred Lowery, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bossier City. Burial: Hill Crest Cemetery. Masonic graveside rites will be observed.

He died at 6:20 a.m., Monday, June 20, 1983 at Pilgrim Manor North following a lengthy illness. Mr. Fuller, a native and lifelong resident of Bossier City, was a retired radio dispatcher with Bossier Water Dept., a member of the V.F.W., the American Legion, Martin-McClanahan Masonic Lodge, El Karubah Shrine and Lions Club. He was mayor of Bossier City from 1937 until 1953, and was with the American Expeditionary Forces in France from 1918 until 1919. Mr. Fuller was a member of First Baptist Church in Bossier City.

Survivors include one son, Hoffman Franklin Fuller of Metairie, La.; one sister, Mrs. Daisy Hanley of Bossier City; and two grandchildren.
