Fred Harrison Sr. Services Held

Funeral services were held for Fred D. Harrison, Sr. on Saturday, Feb. 3, in the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel.
Mr. Harrison was born Jan. 15, 1891, in Sewanee, Tenn., and passed a way in a Lancaster Hospital on. Feb. 2. He was 82 years old. He had been a resident of Kern County since 1936, and made his home at 2138 Panamint St. Mojave. Mr. Harrison had been head custodian for Mojave Unified School District for 12 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife Martha, two sons, Fred D. Harrison, Jr. Mojave..and John H. Harrison, Marysville, Calif.; a daughter, Edith Stein, Canoga Park; a brother George, Victorville; eight grandchildren,. 2 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
The 2.00 p.m. services were conducted by Rev. James W. Chitty, Mojave Com. Church assisted by officers of Mojave
Masonic Lodge,F&AM 783. Pallbearers were also members of the Masonic Lodge. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery.
Stickel Mortuaries had charge of arrangements.
