FUGATE, Frankie, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Magnum Care of Monroe. She was born December 11, 1920 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Dan and Alice (Shepherd) Shepherd.

On October, 20, 1942 she married Coley Fugate in Canterbury, Indiana and he preceded her in death on September 6, 1988.

Frankie enjoyed fishing with her husband Coley. She also enjoyed gardening and canning but most of all crocheting afghans, Christmas hats and baby blankets for her family.

She is survived by five sons; Ronald of Tecumseh, Donald (Sue) of Milan, Tim (Sue) of Milan, Thomas (Sue) of Kentucky, Tony of Milan, three daughters; Connie Sue Formella of Salem, Coleen Kosarue of Ypsilanti, Christine Thompson of Romulus, daughter-in-law Lori Fugate of Dundee, 29 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, a sister Libby Alton and sister-in-law Della Fugate.

Besides her husband, Coley, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters Alice Yvonne and Glenda Faye, her son Jim who died this past December, five brothers, a sister and two sons-in-law Dick Formella and Joe Kosarue.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 - 8 p.m. at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan where funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan.
