Mrs. Anna Sams, wife of J. G. Sams, deputy county assessor, passed away Friday morning at the family home, 1122 Adams street, after several weeks illness. She leaves a host of friends and acquaintances won through many years of residence in the city. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. County Commissioner J. C. Sams and Mary Jane Sams are the children of the deceased living here and another son and daughter reside in Kansas City.
