Death claimed Mrs. George W. Stimson of 20 Oak Grove avenue, Oak Knoll, last night. Mrs. Stimson was beloved by a large circle of acquaintances and had long been active in church and charitable activities. Mrs. Stimson had been in failing health during the past two years...

Jane Wickersham Stimson was born in Wilmington, Ohio, August 23, 1855, and her she was educated and grew to young womanhood. Her marriage to George Woodbury Stimson took place in September, 1875, soon after which they moved to Washington Courthouse, Ohio, where they spent the early years of their married life. In 1885 Mr. and Mrs. Stimson came to California to make this their permanent home.

Besides her beloved husband, George W. Stimson, she leaves five children, Robert Wickersham Stimson of New York, who is now in Germany; George Lawrence Stimson, Mrs. Walter Hopkins, Charles Ewing Stimson and Mrs. Jane Stimson Dulin, all of Pasadena.
