Charlie Ward Palmer, 82, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, in Farmington. He was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Bronson, Texas to Bertie Mae Simmons Palmer and Frank Palmer. Charlie was a member of Heat and Frost Asbestos Local Union 76.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Darrell, Vernon, Melton and Lawrence Palmer and a sister, Betty Jean Esparza.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Palmer; son, LeWayne Palmer and grandsons, Chaz, Chris and Gabe Palmer.
Visitation for Charlie will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, at 5 p.m. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Chapel with Pastor Keith Neil officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chaz Palmer, Chris Palmer, Gabe Palmer, Alan Palmer, Donny Valencia and Ron Dearmond.
Charlie is in the care of Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E. Ute Street, Farmington 505-325-8688.
