Born about 1770. No real proof of birth date.

John and his wife Isabel came to America in the early 1800's and settled in Darlington, South Carolina. I have record of them also in Chesterfield, South Carolina.

John was a school teach the Revell's School House and the Gully School in that area where he lived.

I am not sure if he is buried in Chesterfield or Darlington, County, South South Carolina.

John's name is listed on a copy of the the minutes of the Court. RE: 1826 Grand Jury
We the Grand Jurors for Chesterfield district for Spring Term of 1826 Present the lamentable circumstance of the rising generation growing up in idleness and dissipation almost invariably. Free schools placed at convenient places for them to attend and their education neglected and that too by their mothers. Males between twelve and twenty of bound to trades and properly educated would serve to make good members of society of many who are now and ought to be granted.

John's middle name of Mallory is not proven. I had received other family tree information stating that the middle name is Mallory .
