Charles H. Baugh, 84, died Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness. Born in Dixon, Mo., he lived in Vallejo from 1941 to 1975 and from 1985 until his death. He worked for 30 years as a pipefitter, part of the time at Mare Island Naval Shipyard.
Mr. Baugh was a member of the Pipefitters Union, Local No. 38 of San Francisco.
He is survived by two daughters, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula, and son, Donald.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Sunrise Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Mendenhall of the Church of Christ officiating. Twin Chapels Mortuary made arrangements.
