Born June 26, 1909 in St. George, S.C., she was the daughter of the late John Henry Whetsell and Mamie Howell Whetsell.
Mrs. Bull was a 1930 graduate of Winthrop University. She held a Bachelors Degree in Education and taught Latin in the Greenville County School System for thirty years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greer, S.C.
Preceding her in death, including her husband, were two brothers, John Whetsell and William Whetsell, both of St. George, S.C.
Surviving are her son, Daniel Henry Bull, Jr. and his wife, Ann LaGrone Bull, of Greenville, S.C.; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Bull Reames and her husband, James Frederick Reames, III, of Columbia, S.C. and Ann Dunson Bull of Charlotte, N.C. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Eliza, Caroline and James Reames.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2007, at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Anne Patterson Willett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Church Episcopal, 10 N. Church St., Greenville, SC 29601.
The family will be at the home of her son, 322 Belmont Ave., Greenville, SC
