Born Aug. 31, 1907, in Pittsylvania Co., she was the daughter of the late Ashley C. Allen and Lillie Mae Reynolds Allen.
She was a member of County Line Christian Church.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
She is survived by seven nieces and five nephews.
She was predeceased by one son, Allen Reynolds "Sam" Coward; two sisters, Ora Mae Allen Reynolds and Doris Crane Benazzi; and four brothers, Walter "Doc" Allen, J. Richard Allen, Curtis H. Allen and Herman Clarence Allen.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15 at Scott Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Dean Ashby officiating. Interment will be at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery in Chatham.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Scott Funeral Home.
