Mrs. Ada Blanche Carpenter, 74, resident of Portland the past 20 years, died Friday at her residence, 2135 N.W. Marshall street. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Colonial mortuary, with Dr. Raymond B. Walker, pastor of the First Congregational church, in charge. Mrs. Carpenter was a native of Dunmore, W. Va. She was a member of Columbia Rebekah lodge No. 3, which will assist at the services.

Survivors include two sons, Roy V. Carpenter, Spokane, and D. Wiley Carpenter, Longview; four daughters, Mrs. Audrey Benge, Mrs. Lucille Berg and Mrs. Madge Linn, Portland, and Mrs. Murel Lee, Seattle; three sisters, Mrs. Fay Mann, Portland; Mrs. Bessie McGra, Santa Cruz, Cal., and Mrs. Mabel Thompson, Akron, Or.; three brothers, Delbert Carpenter, Portland, and Clyde and Edgar Carpenter, LaPine, Or; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
