Josephine Jamieson Waldon, 86, Ripley, died January 26, 2005, at Tippah County Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired employee of Tippah County Hospital.
Services were January 29 at 11 am in Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Ripley Cemetery. Dr. Albert Wilkerson and Dr. Jack Bennett officiated.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Waldon; three sons, Gerald Waldon and wife Carol, Rowland, TX, Harold Waldon and wife Ann, Memphis, and H. Phillip Waldon, Jr., and wife Becky, Memphis; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Birdie Jane Jamieson; five sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers were W.C. Mann, Wayne Ridge, Tom Shackelford, J.P, Shackelford, Lonnie Goolsby and James Henry.
