Rebecca was a member of the San Bernardino chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served as Chaplain.
In March of 1941, the Chapter chose to plant a tree at the entrance of the "National Orange Show" in downtown San Bernardino in memory of their regent, Mrs. R. F. Garner ( Mrs. Anna Bryan (Boley) Garner). Rebecca Harmon, as chaplin, was in charge of planning and conducting the service.

She was the GG Granddaughter of her Patriot, James Harris (1743-P1790) MD Drummer.

Census records indicate that she had no children.
