The Post-Journal: 1/13/1987: Stanley A. Wahlberg, 68, of Bentley Avenue, Fluvanna, died at 2:11 a.m. today (Jan. 13, 1987) in WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident he was born in Jamestown, March 23, 1918, a son of the late Axel and Helga Friberg Wahlberg. Before retiring, Wahlberg had been employed by Chautauqua Hardware and earlier by Weber-Knapp for 25 years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church; Elks Lodge; International Council, Order of DeMolay; Mt. Moriah Lodge 145, F&AM; Jamestown Shrine Club; Ismailia Temple; and Jamestown Consistory. He had formerly been active with National Boy Scout Council. Surviving is his wife, the former Ethel Carlson, whom he married March 24, 1962. He was preceded in death by two brothers: A. John Wahlberg and Roland Wahlberg.
