Private visitation for former Antioch resident Donna Frances McAllister was held recently. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday at Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery in Antioch. Burial will follow. She died Thursday at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Martinez after a short illness. She was 62. A Native of Springfield CO she moved to Antioch in 1936 at the age of 5, and attended schools there. In 1980 she moved to Paradise in Butte County CA. She was a homemaker for 48 years and was an avid bingo player in both Antioch and Paradise. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Dunse of Oakley CA and Kim McAllister of Antioch; a son Michael McAllister of Antioch (Conrad MT); a brother, Wilford Jones of Paradise; three sisters, Viola White and Bonnie Pickard, both of Paradise, and Pat Berry of Mineral Wells TX, seven (six) grandchildren (granddaughters) and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.W. McAllister, in1970; a sister Freda Webb and a great-grandson.
