Mrs. Iva Jean (Siler) Campbell, age 80 of Barbourville, departed this life on Sunday, January 20, 2013 in the Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, KY. She was the daughter of William B. and Bessie (Dixon) Siler born to them on May 23, 1932 in Whitley Co. On October 30, 1954 she united in marriage with Charles Scott Campbell and to this union two children were born.

Mrs. Campbell was a retired educator and taught at Reese Elementary and Jesse D. Lay Elementary in Knox County. She was a member of the East Barbourville Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, RA and GA leader and WMU member. She was also a member of the Gideon's Auxiliary and the American Legion Post #69 auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Scott Campbell, her parents, William B. and Bessie Siler, one brother, Lowell Siler and two sisters, Nona Perkins and Opal Partin.

Left behind to mourn her passing is one son William Duane Campbell and wife Rosalind (Baskin) of Danville, KY, one daughter Deborah S. (Campbell) Moran & husband Mark Moran of Barbourville, KY, two brothers, Willard Siler and Wilbert Siler and wife Bessie of Rockhold, KY, three grandchildren, Kristen Moran, Corey Moran and Tara Sosh, two great grandchildren, Austin Johnson and Justin Johnson and one great great granddaughter, Leanna Lynn plus a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Special thanks to the Knox Co. Hospital Long Term Care Staff, The Heritage Long term care staff, Dr. Larry Warren and Dr. Tom Ashburn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Campbell will be conducted on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Vandy, Rev. Joshua Smith and Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Moran, Timmy Siler, Mark Siler, Jimmy Siler, Austin Johnson, Justin Johnson , Dennis Morris and Dustin Morris. Burial will follow in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements

Friends will be received at the Hampton Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
