Nov 7, 1957 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Funeral services for Harry C. Bordwell, 64, of Livermore were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Bogaard Funeral Home in Humboldt. The Rev. Worthie Usher, pastor of the Livermore and LuVerne Methodist churches officiated and burial was in Union cemetery at Livermore.
Mr Bordwell died Sunday morning at University hospitals in Iowa City after a long illness. He was born Oct. 29, 1893, at Livermore and had resided there all his life.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; six children; three brothers and four sisters — Louis and Albert Bordwell, Mrs Zeke Smith and Mrs Orville Riley, all of Livermore; Ace Bordwell of Alden, Minn.; Mrs Lawrence McPherson of Dakota City; and Mrs William Funk of Algona.
