Tim Parsons, 58, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Lewisville, Texas. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer. A Celebration of his life will be at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Palmer with Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery.

Tim was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, to the late Henry Sherman and Violet Elizabeth (Alcorn) Parsons. He grew up in Irving, Texas, and graduated from MacArthur High School. Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army, and settled in Ellis County. He worked for over 20 years as a vice-president for Best Way Transportation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, and watching old movies. When he could, he liked to go boating on the lake.

Survivors include his brother, Sherman Parsons; sisters, Tommie Lovelace and Susan Erwin; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. L11
