The funeral of Carrie Mae Hancock, 85, of 1104 Broadway, Normal, who died Monday at Octavia Manor Nursing Home, Colfax, will be at 2:30 pm Friday at Stubblefield Funeral Home, with Dr. Richard Brownfield officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Shullsburg, Wis., Saturday. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hancock was born Feb. 25, 1893, in Shullsburg, a daughter of Joseph and Theresa Terrill Tangye. She married Howard J. Hancock in 1918, in Des Moines, Iowa. He died Feb. 12.

Survivors include a son, Edward J., Northville, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Medley, Platteville, Wis.; a brother, Gilbert Tangye, Tucson, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Normal.
