From the LaFollette Press, Thursday, March 6, 1980:

Kelly Goins, 85, of Route 4, LaFollette, died early Tuesday morning at LaFollette Community Hospital. He was a Veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl W. Goins of LaFollette; five daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Juanita) Estes of Knoxville, Mrs. Henderson (Evelyn) Miller of LaFollette, Mrs. Melvin (Margie) Gentry, Miss Elaine Goins, and Mrs. Barbara Goins, all of Dayton, Ohio; four sons, Harvey Goins of Carlisle, Ohio, Ralph Goins of Tipp City, Ohio, Kenneth Goins of Hammond, Ind., and Clester Goins of Highland, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Rose Chapman of LaFollette; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Thursday at 2 p.m. at Walters Chapel with the Rev. Lee Kidwell officiating. Burial was in Campbell Memorial Gardens
