FULTON – Mary Elizabeth Glenn, 90, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Brighton, Tenn., to James Fred and Katherine McCormick Blanchard. She graduated from Brighton High School and attended the Memphis School of Commerce. She was a long-time employee and retired in 1978 from Deposit Guaranty Bank. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the choir. She was very active in civic and community affairs and was a member of the Magnolia Garden Club, the Auburn Homemaker's Club and the Altrusa Club.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include her son, Dale Glenn (Elizabeth); six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parent; her husband, Daniel E. Glenn Sr.; a son, Daniel E. Glenn Jr.; and two brothers.

Pallbearers will be Jim Larke, Jimmy Blanchard, Malcolm Glenn, Dick Rogers, Ken Carson and Lynn Turner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
