COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 10/15/2015
HAYDEN - Anna Christine, 100, formerly of Lebanon, KY, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015, in Louisville, where she resided at Sacred Heart Village. She was born on November 21, 1914, in Marion Co., KY, to Joseph Douglas & Artie Hardesty Thompson and married to Lloyd Augustine (L.A.) Hayden in 1937. They were members of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Leo Augustine Hayden; brothers, Woodrow, Bernard & Willard Thompson; and sisters, Cynthia Molenda, Emma Higdon, and Geneva Osborne. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Father Joseph Francis Hayden, Chimbote, Perú, and Thomas Gerard Hayden (Cindy), Georgetown, KY; daughters, Mary Ellen Inman (Thomas), Louisville, and Catharine Ann Bloodworth (John), Louisville; and sisters, Pat Osborne, Lebanon, Theresa Carrico, (John), South Bend, IN, and Jeanette Wathen (Joe McGee), LaGrange, KY. She will be missed also by her 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, officiated by her son, Father Joseph F. Hayden, with burial in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Thursday at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with prayers and rosary at 7 p.m. during visitation.
