As a child, Travis attended Tiebreaker Elementary School and Rigby Junior High School, progressing on to Rigby High School. He graduated from Westview High School.
Travis exhibited many wonderful traits. He moved pipe for Austin Clements, he also worked for Northwest Cosmetics and HK Contractors.
Travis loved life and had many various interests. He enjoyed snowboarding, fishing, playing video games (his favorite game was Zelda). If you needed to find Travis he would be listening to his IPOD or texting a friend on his cell phone.
Travis spent a lot of his time with "G-Ma" Foster, Aunt Julie, Uncle Brad and Chev "Stevie."
He leaves behind his parents, Mark Foster of Idaho Falls, Linda Foster of Ririe, three brothers, Randy Castro and Dustin Foster of Idaho Falls, and Dylan Foster of Phoenix, Arizona; his Uncle Brad and Aunt Kris, Niece, Stevie, Uncle Gary and Aunt Carol of Eureka, CA; Nieces Shawnie and Nicole, and Nephew Garrett, Uncle James and Aunt Elisha Foster of Idaho Falls, Nephews, J. R., Billy, Cody and Austin and his favorite Aunt Julie Foster Hyde of Idaho Falls, and best friend and fiancee Amy Mandel; grandparents, Marrian Foster and Richard Bird, Marie and Paul Castro, Uncle Sam Castro and Paul Castro, Eric Castro and Aunt Cindy Johnson. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Carlton Foster, an uncle, Gerry Scot Hyde, and a cousin, Robert Watkins.
A Celebration of Life in Travis' honor will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
