Roger Lee Cook, 66, died January 20, 2013 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cook was born February 24, in Danville, son of the laJohn Allen Cook, Sr., and Opal Harris Cook. Mr. Cook was employed by the Pittsylvania County School System where he taught at Tunstall High School for 37 years. He received a Bachelors Degree in marketing from Virginia Tech.
On August 9, 1992 he married Wendy Bryant-Cook, who survives. He is also survived by three sons, Brian C. Cook(Teresa), Stephen Sean Cook(Melissa) and Bryant Allen Cook; a daughter, Shannon C. Snow(Darrell); six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, John Allen Cook, Jr.
Interment will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
