Actor, Comedian. One of Mack Sennett's famed Keystone Kops, he worked extensively with Charlie Chaplin and had an important role in Erich Von Stroheim's "Greed" (1924). In the 1920s, he appeared in four early W.C. Fields' films, including "Her Majesty Love." In the late 1940s, his career went into decline, reportedly he was found working as Santa Claus in a L.A. department store. For his contributions to motion pictures, he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located at 1560 Vine St.
