Actress. She received notoriety as a Spanish actress in the 1960s appearing in Jesus Franco's horror films, among them "El conde Drácula" in 1969 and "Las vampiras" in 1970. She was the niece of singer Paquita Rico. She appeared in over 30 movies including "La bella Mimi" in 1960, "Las hijas de Elena" in 1963, "La familia y uno más" in 1965, and "Soltera y madre en la vida" in 1969. In 1969 she had a role in the American film, which starred Jim Brown, Burt Reynolds, and Raquel Welch, “100 Rifles,” based on Robert MacLeod's 1966 novel, “ The California.” Born Soledad Rendón Bueno, she had several stage names with the first randomly drew from a hat and included the English version, Susan Korday. During the 1960s, she released a few pop musical recordings. Her career was cut short when she died from major head and back injuries in a car accident in Lisbon at the young age of 27. She was married and had a young son.
