Elwood K. "Woody" Boyer, 69, of 123 Pricetown Road, Fleetwood, died Monday in his home. Since 1946, he was president and chief executive officer of Boyer's Market, Boyers Junction, Rockland Township. Born in Rockland Township, he was a son of the late Forest K. and Bertha (Brinsenhoff) Kniss Boyer. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church. He was director of Pennsylvania Food Merchant's Association and it's credit union, both in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, and Northeast Bank of Pennsylvania, Kutztown. He was past director of Association Wholesalers Inc., Robesonia, and past president of Boyers Junction Community Center. He was treasurer and past president of Boyers Junction Hunting Club, and past auditor for Rockland Township for 41 years. He was also the past forest fire warden for 40 years in the Rockland Township area. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Patricia Lee at home, and brother, George I. of Fleetwood. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Friday.
