Robert A. Beckham, 40, of Pass Christian, died Friday, April 2 in Gulfport. He was a lifelong resident of the Coast and had been an ironworker and a shrimper. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlen and Thelma Beckham, grandfather, Leonard R. Beckham, grandmother, Frances "Claude" Lacy and his aunt Sharon Fraleigh. He is survived by his wife, Susan Beckham, Pass Christian, MS, a son Robert Arlen Beckham, II, Birmingham, AL, a daughter, Rachel LeeAnn Beckham, Pass Christian, MS, his grandmother, Dorothy (Nig) F. Beckham, Pass Christian, MS and numerous aunts and uncles. There will be a graveside service Sunday, April 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum in Gulfport. Riemann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
