Evelyn Elaine Moore 79, of Spirit Lake passed on to be with the Lord Dec. 15th at her home surrounded by all her family. She was born May 19, 1932 to William and Nellie Brumley at their home on the Bear Paw Ranch. She married Johnny Moore, the love of her life in 1949. She lived and raised her three children at Priest Lake for 40 years. Then moved to Priest River and eventually moved to Spirit Lake to live with her children. She loved and cherished all her family. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Johnny of 60 years, and her beloved son Randy. Parents William and Nellie, Sisters; Edna, Ethel, Ellen, Edith, Brothers: Orville, Loren, Mike, Lewis and George. Survivors include her son Gordon (and Kathy) Moore of Delta Junction Alaska, Daughter Sharon (and Sam) Ballard of Spirit Lake, grandchildren; Paula, Amanda, Joni Sue, Jim, Bill, Dave, Michelle, Shawn and Miranda, and 13 great-grand children. A memorial potluck will be held Sat. Jan 14th at 1:00 pm at the Ballard Residence located at 549 Ediah Rd. in Spirit Lake. All who loved and knew her are welcome. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Priest River is in charge of arrangements.
