Married Coy Russell "Perle" Carter June 27, 1936 in Arvada, Colorado. Mother to Charles, David, Phillip, Gary and Jim. She passed away March 7,1975 at the age of 60 of complications while undergoing surgery relating to her heart. Services were at Howard's Berkeley Park Chapel May 10 with the Rev. Dewayne Davis (Elmwood Baptist Church) officiating.
