Jackie Randle Harvell passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center at the age of 60. He was born November 1, 1950 in Corinth, MS.

He loved his children & grandchildren and he was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a hard worker starting work at the age of 9 when he began a paper route for the Daily Corinthian after that he worked at The Frosty Mug and Fraley's Drive-in. He began industrial work with Wurlitzer, followed by ITT and the Nuclear Plant at Yellow Creek Port. He worked for Kimberly Clark for 26 years before retiring in September 2010. Even after his retirement he worked at Sears Retail Store in Corinth, MS. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War and he also retired from the MS National Guard with 20 years of service as a Sergeant 1st Class. He was of the Baptist faith

He is survived by his wife of 33 years: Lisa Burns Harvell of Corinth, MS; two sons, Randle Harvell and wife Jennifer of Michie, TN and Chris Harvell of Corinth, MS; one daughter: Dana Lewis and husband Tom of Corinth, MS; four
grandchildren: Wes Haynes, Cade Harvell, Lily Haynes, Kyler Harvell; four brothers, Terry Harvell and wife Peggy, Chester Harvell and wife Dora Mae, William C. Harvell all of Corinth, and Ricky Harvell and wife Sandy of Glen, MS; two sisters: Gale Moore and husband Barry of Michie, TN and Vickie Wallin and husband David of Corinth, MS; and his father-in-law: Garland Burns and wife Maxine of Corinth, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd & Jewel Jefferies Harvell; one brother, Thomas E. Harvell; his mother-in-law, Geraldine Rogers Burns.
