Bessie Reinhart, Shell Lake, died Thursday, June 28, 1984, at the Indianhead Medical Center, Shell Lake.

The former Bessie Ek was born July 30, 1896 in Shell Lake, She was a 1912 graduate of the Shell Lake High School and the Superior Normal School in 1914. She taught school in the Shell Lake school district in the town of Beaver Brook. On June 12, 1917 she married Earl Reinhart in Shell Lake. He preceded her in death in 1963.

She is survived by two sons, D. B. Reinhart, LaCrosse, and Darrel, Shoreview, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Shell Lake, with Fr. Dean Buttrick officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the Pockat Funeral Home, Shell Lake, where there was a scripture service.
