Jesus Flores, Railroad worker Dies at age 66
Jesus Flores, 66, of 15848 N Street, passed away Oct. 16 following a heart attack.
Born May 30, 1901 in Chihuahua, Mexico, he came to the U.S. 49 years ago and spent 39 of these working for the Southern Pacific.
He leaves a widow Rachel, of Mojave; two daughters, Lucy Guy at Lone Pine; Marguerita Hernandez, Los Angeles; three sons, Ralph of Lancaster, Mike of Delano and Jesse of Los Angeles; and a number of grandchildren.
Services were held in Stickel Chapel with Victor Smyth, president of L.D.S. Church, officiating.
Interment was in Mojave Cemetery with Stickel Mortuary handling arrangements.
