Amy Johnston
Amy M. Johnston, 89, formerly of 1454 Harding Ave., Orrville, died at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton Wednesday evening.
Funeral services were held at Auble funeral home Saturday with Dr. Terry Litton officiating.
Burial will take place in the Dalton Cemetery. She was born in 1894 and Dalton, the daughter of Harvey and Emma C. Tyson Santmyer and was united in marriage to George W. Johnston February 17, 1916. He died October 5, 1975.
She had been a resident of Orrville for more than 69 years, was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a former member of a Church Circle and the Christian Culture Class.
She is survived by one son, Carl, of Wooster; one sister, Alice Johnson, Mansfield; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was to assess she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
