Joseph A Reynolds, 75, died suddenly at his home in Lexington Tuesday afternoon.
He was a native of Botetourt, and had lived in Lexington for more than twenty years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Alice Camper Reynolds and eight children: J W , Vinton; Chester Emmett and Raymond, Mrs Forest O'Connor, and Mrs Ted Mays, Lexingon; Mrs D E Scott, Lynchburg, and Mrs Paul Griffith, Roanoke and several grandchildren.
Ten brothers and sisters also survive, including: E W., S H., F A ., and O O Reynolds, and Mrs R E Murray, Mrs T D Layman and Mrs C H Rieley, of Botetourt County.
Funeral services were held from the home this morning at 10:00 a.m. with services and burial at Copp's Church, Springwood, at 11:00 a.m.
