The relatives and friends of CPO and Mrs. William G. Long are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter Monday, December 26, 2005 in The Church of the Holy Communion at two o'clock. Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, James Island following the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Mrs. Long was born November 30, 1924 in Dillinger/Saar, Germany the daughter of Johann Benois and Barbara Benois.

She retired as a sales consultant with Charles Poulnot Ladies Wear.

She was a member of The Church of the Holy Communion and St. Catherine's Guild.

She is survived by her husband of James Island; one daughter: Shirley L. Cooke of James Island; two grandsons: Jonathan D. Cooke and his wife Heather of Atlanta, GA and T. J. Cooke, II of Charleston; one great grandson: Jackson E. Cooke; one sister: Christa Korte Thum of Bexbach/Saar, Germany; two nieces: Sabine Lemlauf and Susanne Hofuer.
