Japanese Sumo Professional Wrestler. Born Ivan Boryshko, he is known for having been the first sumo wrestler to win two times six consecutive tournaments in the period following the World War II. Universally considered a legend among enthusiasts of this sport, Taiho Koki has been one of the strongest "Yokozuna" in the Japanese Sumo wrestling. He was the only Professional Wrestler to become an honorary member of the Japan Sumo Association and receive the "Person of Cultural Merit Award". Koki died at the age of seventy-three because of a heart attack.
