Mary Cadiz Sagadraca, 92, of Poplar Springs Road, died Tuesday afternoon at Takoma Adventist Hospital.

She was born in Bacarra, Philipines, and had lived in Waipahu, Hawaii, most of her life until moving to Greeneville in April 1998.

Mrs. Sagadraca was a housewife.

She was a member of Central Seventh-day Adventist Church in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She was the daughter of the late Ciriaco and Francisca Cadiz and the widow of Regino Sagadraca.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Remy and Vadis Sagadraca of Greeneville; two daughters and sons-in-law: Melinda and Douglas Perry of Hawaii and Lt. Col. Myrna and Robert Callason of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., where she is stationed in the U.S. Army; her grandchildren: Bryan and Lisa Perry, Michelle Kostron, Scott Sagadraca, Jennifer Sagadraca, Philip Sagadraca and Jessica Callason; one great-grandson: Grayson Kostron; two special nieces and a special nephew: Norma Galiza and Herman and Frances Sagadraca; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, a "circle of very close friends," including the Sagadraca family, the Galiza family, the Cadiente family and her former pastors: Vic Arreola and David Madrid.

Her family stated, "There are numerous other family members who loved and respected our mother and would love to be here to convey their condolences and last respects but are not able to be here. It is impossible to mention all the names of her friends and fellow church members in Hawaii because there are over a hundred other names."

She was preceded in death by a sister, Monica Cadiz.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 29, at Kiser Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at the funeral home chapel.
Chaplain Jan Leffers will officiate.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Doug Perry, Jim Roberts, Robert Callison, Philip Sagadraca, Scott Sagadraca and Joe Hawk.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pastor David Madrid, Pastor Vic Arreola and employees of Greeneville Care and Rehabilitation Center.
