Leo Belle (Jones) Balin Williams passed away peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2012, at her residence in Thousand Oaks, California with her daughter at her bedside.
She was born March 14, 1919 in the Brownsville Hospital, the daughter of Gordon Thomas Jones, Sr. and Leo Blair Herrington Jones.
She was a former member of Great Bethel Baptist Church, Uniontown, Pa. and Chapter 263, Order of the Eastern Star, Uniontown.
She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary to Walter E. Brown VFW Post 21, Connellsville, Pa.
In addition to her parents, Leo Belle was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Lou Balin; her first husband of 54 years, Stanley J. Balin and her second husband of 11 years, Lyle Williams. She was also preceded in death by the following brothers: William, Gordon Jr. and Harold.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lee Balin of Agoura Hills, California; brothers, Allen of Dunbar Township, Blair of Uniontown; a sister, Lois Rhodes of Uniontown and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
