Kay M Colver, age 67, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2006, at the Hospice Kavanagh House on Grand from complications of cancer. Kay was a resident of Des Moines for 16 years and had spent most of her life as a resident of Chariton.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband Bill D. Colver and her parents, Don and Velva Monroe. Kay is survived by her daughters: Kim (Rick) Monroe, Devore, California; Kellie (Steve)Long, Chariton; two brothers: Dick Monroe, Leon; Larry Monroe, Cedar Rapids; and her twin sister, Karen Guest, Des Moines; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
No services have been planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Kavanagh House on Grand.
