Our loving mother, Annalee Larrondo, age 92, died peacefully in her sleep on January 16, 2013 in her apartment at Salmon Creek Senior Living in Boise, Idaho.

She was born September 26, 1920, in Bronson, Kansas, to Donald James and Edna Hazel Smith Noble. Annalee and her brother, Harold, were raised by their Grandmother and Grandfather Smith after the early passing of their mother.

Annalee graduated from high school and spent one year at the local community college in Kansas before moving to Emmett, Idaho, to join her brother, Harold and Uncle Scott Smith in 1939.

Annalee attended the College of Idaho and earned a teaching certificate. She taught for two years at Cloverdale School, at Fairview and Cloverdale Rd, where she met the handsome principal, 7th and 8th grade teacher and school janitor, Fernando (Fergie) Larrondo.

Annalee and Fergie were married at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Boise on June 6, 1943. They spent the war years in Portland, Oregon working in the naval shipyards. They returned to Boise where Annalee became a homemaker, raising their family of three boys and one girl.

Homebuilder by trade, Fergie built their home in west Boise in 1950. They spent many happy years enjoying family, neighbors, block and bridge parties, school, church and sporting events. Annalee and Fergie were charter members of the Basque Center and participated in monthly dinners, Sheepherder's Balls and Basque picnics. Many wonderful vacations were enjoyed at Warm Lake with friends and family.

Annalee lived in the family home for 55 years until she moved to Willowbrook, a senior living community. She spent her final years at Salmon Creek where she enjoyed new friends and having her meals cooked.

She volunteered at Saint Alphonsus Hospital Auxilary for more than 30 years, accumulating 17,728 hours. She was the chairman of the religious department at the gift shop for a number of those years. She also volunteered regularly at her children's schools and for the election board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Harold and Carroll Noble; her husband, Fernando Larrondo; and her grandson, Eric Larrondo.

She is survived by her children, Dennis (Sharon), Steve (Peggy), Scott (Stephanie) Larrondo, all of Boise and Deanna (Larry) Henson, of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Paul Larrondo, Brad (Kelly) Larrondo, Ryan Larrondo, all of Boise; Ali Larrondo, Boise and J. Scott (Carolyn) Larrondo, of San Antonio, Texas, Megan (Tim) Rowe, of Seattle, Washington and Sam Larrondo, of Boise; and Lauren Henson and Lee Henson, of Fort Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Taylor Larrondo, of San Antonio, Texas, Annie Larrondo of Boise, and Rylee and Kinzie Larrondo, of Boise. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, with graveside services concluding at Cloverdale Memorial Park.
