Mildred C. Julius, 79, formerly of Elwood, died Thursday evening at 124 E. Jackson St., Tipton, following an extended illness. Born July 11, 1906 in Tipton County, she was the daughter of Franklin and Myrtle Achenbach Miller. She married Nola D. Julius Dec. 22. 1923. He died Jan. 6, 1960. She was retired from the F. W. Woolworth Co. and formerly worked at Hooks Drugs in Elwood. She was a member of the East Main Street Christian Church. Survivors include one sister, Zarepha Lively of Atlanta, and two brothers, Lester Miller of Atlanta and Charles Miller of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Remick officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
