Following a brief illness, Henry L. Wright aged 74 years, died last evening at the Bridgeport hospital. Mr. Wright resided a 833 Kossuth street, and was widely known on the East Side. He was for 50 years employed at the Singer Manufacturing Co., and for many years foreman of the needle department of that concern. He was born in Glastonbury, Conn., Sept. 12, 1843. He was a civil war veteran haying been a member of Co. K, First Connecticut Heavy Artillery. He was also affiliated with Waldemere council, O, U. A. M No. 17. Besides his wife, one son, H. H. Wright, two daughters, Mrs. G. S. Arnold and Mrs. J. J. Reilly, four grandchildren and six great grand children survive.
