ANDERSON, SC - Emma Elizabeth Rowland Bohner, age 88, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 at National Health Care of Anderson.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Robert Grover Rowland and the late Willie Fields Rowland. She worked for many years in the textile industry in the Anderson area. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Misty Burgio and her husband Keith of Greer, SC and their children, Jackson and Parker and Monica Orr of Branchville, NJ and her children, Zachary, Caleb, Hannah and Samuel; a brother, John Rowland and his wife Doris of Greenville, SC; a sister, Agnes McCoy of Belton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee E. Bohner; a son, Paul M. Rowland; a brother, JC Rowland and two sisters, Ethel Segars and Frances Harris Treadwell.
The Funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM with entombment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson County Humane Society, 235 Camson Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
